I’m an Assistant Professor at the University of Luxembourg.
If you want to get to know me and my research please watch this “Meet the Scientist” video produced by the FNR.LU.
Generally speaking, I study the more or less strategic uses of digital media and technologies for learning and teaching, including factors that condition in how far and how they are used in various learning and teaching settings. As a cognitive scientist, I am also interested in subjective theories as well as scientific theories of learning, i.e. how we think (intuitively or based on scientific research) that learning works and what that means for teaching. Moreover, I am interested in the socio-cultural changes in learning brought about by the digital revolution, i.e. how the recent changes in media have caused our understanding of learning to change.
