Kindle for iPhone: Now also in Luxembourg

I’ve just read the big news! Kindle for iPhone has been release for 60 countries, including Luxembourg… the app is free, you can buy the eBook online, using your normal browser or the iPhone Safari and then your purchases get automatically downloaded to your iPhone…

I just bought “The Brain That Changes Itself” by Norman Doidge, a book that I wanted to read anyway, since I’ve been referencing to it in my seminars on the NeuroSciences of Learning…

4 Feedbacks on “Kindle for iPhone: Now also in Luxembourg”

  1. Two minds… I had installed the app yesterday b/c I thought I would buy a certain book, but found out that I already had the free download as PDF. 😉 Thus, today I bought “Confessions of a public speaker” by Scott Berkun. Let’s see how that reading experience turns out.

  2. I’ve started to read my first Kindle book and so far I think it’s okay… even though the iPhone screen is rather small for reading a book… but I can read single-handed, which I appreciate… compared to books that’s an advantage for me… especially for “flipping” pages… however I do think that “flipping pages” with an eBook is rather silly and unnecessary, since that’s merely a legacy feature and doesn’t add any real value… Maybe it’s easier to know “where you stopped reading” when the entire text is divided into “pages”… but that issue could be addressed by setting a visual marker…

  3. So far I quite like reading books with Kindle for iPhone… It’s nice to know that the one book I’ve downloaded is always in my pockets where ever I go…
